After returning from a long term injury, Manchester United have re-signed veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovich and the big swede was released by Manchester United early this summer as his contract with the red devils expired but he was last week unveiled as Jose Mourinho’s fourth signing of the season as the Portuguese tactician is keen on strengthening his squad for the new campaign according to reports in the IB Times.
Jose Mourinho revealed that they signed back the player not only because of his influence on the pitch but because of his influence off the pitch and red devils top striker Romelu Lukaku has also shared the manager’s thoughts and stated that the big Swede will bring a lot of experience and value to the team.
The Belgian striker is already in a scoring spree as he already has three goals in his name to help the red devils sit comfortably at the top of the premier league table and it is also certain that Romelu Lukaku would retain his spot as Jose Mourinho’s first choice striker even with the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovich.
The Belgian forward also added that he knew the fierce Swede player would return and he would be welcomed because of the value and experience he brings to the team. He also added that the 35 year old striker is on a mission and that mission is to help the red devils win trophies.
