Manchester united attacker Wayne Rooney has revealed that he is happy at Old Trafford and isn’t thinking about his future at Manchester united until the end of his contract despite surprise interest coming from the far-east according to reports in the Squawka.
Wayne Rooney helped Jose Mourinho’s men secure a point despite coming on in the second half of the game and his goal making him the current highest goal scorer at Manchester united with 250 goals but with his limited playing time under Jose Mourinho and age, reports in the Sun have disclosed that the Chinese super league are willing to lure him to China with a deal worth £1m weekly.
However, Wayne Rooney after receiving the Football Writers Association Tribute Award disclosed that although he isn’t getting regular playing time, he is still happy at Manchester united. The attacker admitted that football is a strange game where things changes and happens very fast but he is happy at Old Trafford and hopes to get more games.
Wayne Rooney told Sky Sports:
“I’m having a great moment and I am in the right place. I have one more year left with a year extension but we will see what happens that”.
Speaking after Saturday’s draw with Stoke, Jose Mourinho disclosed that he wouldn’t stop Rooney from switching to the Chinese super league if his contract expires. Wayne Rooney seems frustrated with his lack of regular playing time but he is still contracted with the club till 2019
