Reports in the Squawka today have disclosed that sky sports pundit Jamie Redknapp believes Manchester united manager Jose Mourinho has run out of excuses at Old Trafford following Manchester United’s recent poor home run of results in the premier league.
Manchester united have managed to win just two of their previous seven premier league clashes before Sunday’s game with West Ham and despite grabbing a massive 4-0 victory over Feyenoord in the Europa league on Thursday night, the red devils failed to turn their fortunes around in the premier league.
Jose Mourinho saw his team fall behind just two minutes after kick off when West Ham’s Diafra Sakho headed home from a Dmitri Payet free kick but Manchester united equalized 20 minutes later through Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s header and the red devils dominated the game but the visitors defended excellently and forced Manchester united to settle for a draw.
Jose Mourinho was dismissed to the stands again for kicking a water bottle after Frenchman Paul Pogba received a yellow card for diving and Jamie Redknapp revealed he was disappointed with the Portuguese boss’s attitude claiming the manager has no more excuses to give at Manchester united.
Jamie Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail:
“Such attitude is normal with Jose Mourinho and everybody will be talking about him kicking a water bottle out in frustration but that shouldn’t hide the fact that Manchester united has had a poor start to the season. Mourinho no longer has an excuse and his attitude is really bad”.
Jamie Redknapp disclosed that this is Manchester United’s worst ever start to a new campaign since 1990/1991 and despite spending about £160 million in the summer transfer window, they are yet to get a victory at home since September.
Manchester united play West Ham again on Wednesday in an EFL quarter final cup clash before traveling to Goodison park to play Everton in another premier league encounter.
