Since the beginning of the summer transfer window, Croatian and Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has constantly been linked with a move to Manchester United but the player’s national team coach Ante Cacic has opened up and said that he believes that the highly rated player would end up not leaving Inter Milan after the player agreed to sign a new deal that would keep him at the club according to reports in the Clubcall.
Manchester United wasn’t the only premier league club interested in signing the player as current premier league champions Chelsea also tried in luring the player to England. The 28 year old player was quite instrumental for Inter Milan last season as he grabbed eleven goals and provided twelve assists.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho looked like he was going to sign the player but with deadline day just few days away, it is quite clear that a switch to Manchester United might not fall through and Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalleti has also revealed that the player isn’t for sale as he is a key member of the squad.
Ante Cacic revealed in an interview that he discussed with the player and the player seems happy to stay at Inter Milan.
