Manchester united face a testing campaign next month as they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool before playing Chelsea, Fenerbache and bitter rivals Manchester city and the boss went on to describe the match against Liverpool on October 17 as a poisoned gift.
United play Fenerbache in a Europa league encounter three days after the Liverpool game, travel to Chelsea for a premier league game on October 23 and end the busy schedule with a match against Manchester city in the EFL cup challenge.
The United coach criticized the fixture and said it was impossible for the game against Liverpool to be played on a Saturday or Sunday because it has already been fixed and nothing can be done about it.
Mourinho hinted that the schedule wasn’t favorable for his side considering the fact that they don’t have the best conditions because they have to play against two tough premier league clubs that isn’t participating in any European competition this season.
The manager stressed on the fact that playing against Liverpool on a Monday night would create a difficult situation for him and his team because they have a game three days later against Turkish side Fenerbache but he wouldn’t let the busy fixtures weigh him down so his team will try their best and play with possibilities.
The manager talked about his next game against stoke city on Sunday and the manager is quite aware of the damage the visitors can cause. He praised Stoke city’s manager mark hughes, the team and stated he wouldn’t underestimate them.
