Following his deadline day loan switch to Spanish side Valencia, Andreas Perreira has gone on to reveal why he decided to move to the La Liga team hinting that the only thing that prompted him to move was earning more regular playing time as that wasn’t guaranteed at Manchester United this season according to reports in the Peoples Person.
The highly talented Brazilian player enjoyed a successful loan spell with Granada last season which saw him record thirty seven appearances and impressing fans of the club. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has dismissed talks claiming that the 21 year old could move to Valencia on loan but the player decided to join Valencia without an option to buy as he is still keen on playing for Manchester United.
The player while speaking with Manchester United’s official site revealed that he is at Valencia to continue his development and he also stated he is hopeful to get enough playing time to achieve that. The player excelled in the La Liga last season and he displayed his slickness and quality on the ball during Manchester United’s pre-season game against Real Madrid.
A switch to Valencia is certainly the best option for the player as he isn’t guaranteed any regular game time in Jose Mourinho’s superstar packed present squad but a young, youthful team packed with vigor at Valencia would be the right place for the player this season.
