Manchester United’s versatile and strong player Ashley Young is looking forward to having a meeting with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as he wants to thrash out issues concerning his future at Old Trafford.
The 32 year old England player was expected to quit Old Trafford this summer but it didn’t happen that way and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, the player is expected to move on to another club.
Ashley Young has the option of extending his stay at Manchester United for one more year if both parties can reach an agreement but not being guaranteed regular football is something the player has to be concerned aboutn and Jose Mourinho isn’t expected to stand in the player’s way if he decides to leave.
A close source to Manchester United revealed to the Sun that the player and manager would have a meeting together with both representatives and they would discuss about the player’s future at the club. It is obvious Ashley Young loves it at Manchester United and would love to play here as he enters the later stages of his career.
He moved to Manchester United back in 2011 under former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and he was also linked with a move to the Chinese league during the summer transfer window.
