Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is considering selling young red devils defender Luke Shaw as part of an effort to sign summer transfer target Danny Rose. Jose Mourinho wasn’t impressed with the Englishman’s style of play towards the closing stages of last season and this has also contributed to the player not being awarded a new contract.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose was Jose Mourinho’s summer transfer target but the manager failed to land the defender as the north London club refused to listen to offers and according to reports in the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United will have to make do with Luke Shaw for the time being before making another move for Rose next summer.
Luke Shaw has also won the heart of Manchester United fans following his arrival in 2014 but series of injuries has hindered his growth and development at the club but his ability to push attack is something most fans adore him for.
The player’s proneness to injuries and inconsistency is something Jose Mourinho is wary of as the manager needs a defender who would be available week in, week out and also used to playing in the premier league.
