Welsh international attacker Gareth Bale has constantly been linked with a move to Manchester United all summer and it appears a deal for the player could push through as Manchester United have tabled a formal bid to lure the player to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer deadline on Thursday.
Reports in Spanish media outlet Don Balon has disclosed that Manchester United have tabled a £92 million move for the sensational Welshman as Jose Mourinho is eager to bolster his squad before the end of the transfer window. There are reports claiming that the deal would push through as Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane can’t guarantee the player a regular starting shirt.
Real Madrid youngster Marcos Asensio has been in a fine form since the second half of last season and the Real Madrid hierarchy is willing to offer the youngster opportunities so he can sign a contract and pledge his future to the club.
Earlier in August, Jose Mourinho admitted that the pursuit of Gareth Bale was over following the player’s inclusion in the squad that defeated Manchester United in the Super Cup clash but it appears the red devils still stand a chance to sign the player with their latest bid.
