Deal Done – Manchester United Completes £36million Key Deal

Following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Everton and Victor Lindelof from Benfica, Manchester United is still keen on making two more signings before the close of the transfer window but at the same time, the red devils are still keen on retaining star midfielder Ander Herrera who was impressive for the red devils last season.

Reports in the Daily Star at the beginning of July revealed that Manchester United was preparing a new contract for the Spanish midfielder in order to wade off top clubs across Europe who were bent on luring the powerful midfielder away from Old Trafford and it was also reported that the player was set to be offered a new four year deal worth £175,000 per week.

However, reports in the Telegraph have revealed that both the player and Manchester United have held talks and they are very close to agreeing a new deal for the player who completed a move to Manchester United from Spanish side Athletic Bilbao under former red devils boss Luis Van Gaal.

Ander Herrera won the club’s player of the season award in May and played up about fifty games in Jose Mourinho’s debut season as manager at Manchester united and the Spanish midfielder also managed to provide eleven assists as well as scoring two goals.
