Following his isolation from training with Manchester united senior player’s, Bastian Schweinsteiger barely interacts with the first team squad because his own training sessions at the United training ground are fixed later in the day.
Jose Mourinho banished the German to training with the under-23 reserve team but Schweinsteiger doesn’t train with them anymore instead.
He works with a fitness coach at the united training complex to maintain form and sharpness ahead of his possible move away from old Trafford.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is experiencing the same issues Victor Valdes had under Manchester United former manager Louis Van Gaal before leaving the club on loan in January.
Bastian Schweinsteiger still maintains communication with few of the senior players but linking up at the united training ground hasn’t been possible since his training isn’t the same time with the first team squad.
Despite training with the under-23 team, Bastian Schweinsteiger hasn’t been selected to play for the reserves as an over aged player in any of the premier league junior fixtures.
The 32year old suggested he might leave old Trafford in order to get more playing time and also hinted that a move to the MLS league could be possible.
“My dream is to play for Manchester United and help the team compete for trophies. I have had discussions with Jose Mourinho and he explained his side of things to me and I also know what I want.
We had a good chat too. We’ll just wait and see how things turn out in September and October. There is a lot of respect between the manager and I and that’s what is important to me”….explained the German.
Bastian Schweinsteiger made 13 league starts for Manchester united under Louis Van Gaal and was used a substitute four times in the past four months.
