Manchester united and Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera has labeled Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with West Ham on Sunday as ‘unbelievable’ after the red devils recorded their fourth consecutive draw at home in the premier league according to reports in Manutd.com.
The red devils were shocked when Diafra Sakho grabbed an early lead for Slaven Bilic’s team but Jose Mourinho’s men dominated the game and equalized through Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s header and also failed to convert most of their chances as they failed to improve on previous premier league home results against Burnley, Stoke city and Arsenal.
Manchester united seemed they would go on and get the maximum points after Zlatan Ibrahimovich’s 21st minute strike canceled the hammers early lead but they had to settle for a draw once more and failed to close the gap to the top four.
After the game with West Ham on Sunday, Ander Herrera who was once again solid in midfield for the red devils revealed he couldn’t believe the outcome of the game because they created many chances but failed to score.
He admitted that West Ham’s goalkeeper Randolph was the hero of the day similar to performances against Burnley, Stoke city and Arsenal.
Ander Herrera told Manutd after the game:
“We are playing very well, moving the ball from side to side, getting a lot of shots and creating a lot of chances but I don’t know what we have to do to start winning games. It is frustrating for the players and the fans and I don’t know what to say”.
Manchester united would be aiming to make things right when they play West Ham again on Wednesday evening at Old Trafford in an EFL cup quarter final clash.
