Manchester United have once again kicked off the new football season perfectly under Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho as they have grabbed three wins out of three games to maintain their place at the top of the premier league table before the international break. It is also important to note that Manchester United won their first three games last season but ended up in the sixth position at the end of the season.
Manchester United also boosted the squad during the summer transfer window as Jose Mourinho completed deals for the likes of Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Zlatan Ibrahimovich to move to Old Trafford and he also made sure he kept hold of his key players too.
Meanwhile, there are reports today in the Sun claiming that strong and versatile Manchester united player Ashley Young wants to remain at Manchester United. The 32 year old was expected to quit Old Trafford this summer but that didn’t happen as he is still keen on representing Manchester United next season.
With his current contract set to expire in about ten months, it is expected of Jose Mourinho to inform the player that his services would no longer be needed but it is also believed that the player would ask for a year extension on the same terms.
